One of my favorite verses in the Bible is Job 1:21. A man who had lived extreme wealth as well as extreme poverty, (including material possessions, relationship, physical health, etc) says, "Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I depart. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away. Blessed be the name of the LORD."
At the moment, in our family, we are celebrating the Lord's giving-- exceeding our expectations! We prayed for $5,000 for little Aimee to have a wheel chair. Thanks to generous people hearing of this need thru Facebook networking and news coverage from KOMO channel 4, MORE THAN $23,500 came in! What a reminder of the generosity of people and God's power thru answered prayer! We are grateful that it does take a community to raise a child!
